Currently seeking Full or Part Time Entry Level Pest Control Technicians or Certified Applicators. Commission sales opportunities are available.
Qualifications:
-Possess a current valid driving license with a driving record that meets company standards, and drive and maintain a company vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition.
-Must be 18 years of age or older.
-High School diploma or GED,
-Highly Motivated and able to work independently, and in teams, while practicing a high level of integrity and professionalism.
-Work with the public, demonstrating excellent communication skills as you work with customers, owners, managers, office staff, and service managers.
-Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times (no smokers, clean shaven face, neatly -trimmed hair). Must be able to wear a respirator.
-Able to lift up to 70 lbs. Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, have full use of hand, finger mobility.
-Must be able to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug test and job physical
-Satisfactorily complete initial technical training.
-Able to read and understand product labels in English, bilingual is excellent resource.
Job Description:
-Inspect and perform pest control treatments for pests and any conditions that could lead to pest activity while following the labels and laws.
-Complete all required production forms at the end of the daily route.
-Call customers to confirm scheduled services, respond to customer requests for telephone calls
-Must be able to work Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays, flexible beginning and ending times per route designation. Some mornings begin at 6:45 am due to client agreements.
-Be comfortable working with insect and rodent pests in a variety of conditions and confined spaces, -Ability to climb up ladders, walk interior attic joists
-Ability to compute simple rates, ratios, percents, draw and interpret graphs. Able to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure.
-Ability to write statement of services, be able to effectively present information to clients one on one, small group settings, all levels of organizational staff.
-Must possess or be able to obtain Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations.
-Customers service and sales, able to sell value added products to existing and new potential customers. Be able to build and maintain good customer relations.
-Meet and exceed sales based goals
-Participates in continued company training
